A couple of days ago I received my copy of MUSE Spring/Summer 2012 from AlOthman…. like always, it comes in wrapped in a foil like cover…

Inside of which was the magazine wrapped in their branded tissue paper.. soft lilac color with hot pink seal/stickers that reads MUSE… I dont mean to bore you with the details but just wanted to give you an idea of how much they are paying attention to the details and presentation

Here is is… Like a golden bullion, the book this season is very GOLDesque!

As you may all know… its been one of my favorite places for that they have yummy food and amazing staff service – oh and its consistent Just one tiny remark! Why isn’t the Internet WiFi for free at your locations for the diners?

Coffee Press… with a tiny cookie <3 I didnt eat the cookie -diet- but the coffee was such a treat for me

Salad… fresh Santa Fe Salad. Check out the presentation! Work of art, isn’t it? Taste-wise? YUMMY! Crispy lettuce, grilled chicken, the whole salad is just yummy

I got a couple of Valentine’s Day gift today! First one was from Lenotre! The Valentine’s Day Cake – made with soft chocolate inside

Let me talk about the package first! Remember how they were famous for their plexi packages last year? This year it was more of an elegant gift box with simple elegant designs and a handle on top to carry “with care” and a sliding drawer like tray. The box says Valentine’s Day on the side <3

The cake is SUPER red with three hearts on top in the colors of chocolate, pink, and white… towards the other side are what I would call wings of hearts! Yeah! Its like when you look at it from the end it looks like heart shapes white chocolate slices are embedded into the cake, when in facts they are three wings on each side, with Lenotre chocolate cube

Soft chocolate inside with a bit of perfect chocolate bitterness and sweetness! This mixture is just amazing! It got Zoona’s approval – my friend who tried it with us and who is btw a CHOCOHOLIC! She loved it

Another company showing love to 518 was Shanghai Tang… Their signature colorful bag, with a colorful gift wrapped in hot orange and fuchsia… sealed with turquoise blue seal! How beautiful and very Shanghai Tang of them The gift is a home fragrance in Water Daffodil – very refreshing and sweet -click on below image to enlarge

She was having Turkish coffee with heart shaped chocolate bites… She randomly snapped this picture like most of us these days We all love to take pictures of food… Just to see this heart shaped coffee in the coffee grounds! Not just that… the heart was sticking out almost exactly the same shape of the chocolates she was munching on

I passed by Debenham’s last weekend and checked out Bassam Fattouh‘s makeup – I liked it ever since I tried it a couple of years ago (link)

I initially wanted to get the Two Way Cake but they were out of it… instead, the very convincing sales lady got me into buying lipsticks! She said the packaging has changed and it includes a soft scent (which I kinda liked), and moisturizer on top in the lipstick cover. I also tried the lip gloss for the first time and liked it… I ended up buying two lipsticks (that I already tried and liked since the old packaging) and a lip gloss

Price tag?

Haifa’s Lips Lipstick: KD8.500

Haifa’s Lips Gloss: KD7,750

True Beige Lipstick: KD8.500

The lipstick prices increased KD0.500… the old look of the lipstick was nicer in my opinion but I like the new addition to it
