I was invited by United Nations Development Programme UNDP Kuwait in partnership with Equilibrium Environmental Services Company to attend the opening of the annual environmental festival titled Green Caravan Film Festival (GCFF) 2011  launch event yesterday and I enjoyed it very much 🙂

The event took place in the UN House in Mishref (which I visited before with The Proteges II)

The opening started with a brief speech given by Dr. Adam Abdelmoula The UNDP Representative in Kuwait.

Followed by Ms. Sandra AlSaleh – Managing Partner of Equilibrium and Dr. Tarek AlShaikh – Head of UN Habitat in Kuwait

They both talked about the event itself, the environmental issues we are facing and the problems tagging along with it in the region and in the world in general… and how we all need to be educated about such issue for the sake of our planet
