My cousin Balques spotted the New London Bus (NB4L) and snapped a picture of it
She said it cost about GBP1.4m to produce one as apposed to the GBP190,000 for the conventional double deckers AKA Routemaster 😉
The first bus entered service on February 27th 2012. It is designed by Heatherwick Studio and built by Wrightbus, and features the “hop-on-hop-off” rear open platform of the original Routemaster, but meets the requirements for modern buses to be fully accessible.
