What's Behind The Green Door? - FIVE ONE EIGHTFIVE ONE EIGHT

@HAUSCAFE_KW – from the creators of @10oh8 😉 It is the newly opened Cafe/Restaurant in Kuwait City… Sharq to be exact, right next to Wataniya Telecom red tower

The new cafe is room-ier and with different design, menu, and style… but they smartly managed to keep the same feel of their other cafe in one way or another! Walls brushed with steel grey, shelves on with the same color and with hint of green here and there! Nice decorations on those shelves too

A SMEG fridge, with help yourself to a drink kinda way, in a mint green color… adding nothing but a beautiful touch to the cafe

It reminded me so much of those secluded restaurants in Colorado… the ones tucked-in in one of those inner streets close to main ones… smart location! I loved it

And here is Omarker snapping some pictures too for his post! Yes.. it was their soft opening right before Ramadan… I was invited to try some of their dishes before their official opening

But it really took me over 30 minutes to decide since I was busy snapping pictures! Don’t you just love those vintage record covers?? Very nice touch 😉

All in all, the interiors and design was all simple and clean… I liked it

Now to order…. at Haus! First you go to the cashier – maybe after you grab a table to secure a place for you to eat 😛 Then place your order out of their menu on the blackboard

And go back to your table and wait 😉 Simple as this… and because it is Ramadan, do not read further -INCOMING FOOD PICTURES- Don’t say I didn’t warn you! I placed my order, A Normal “Not Normal” Cheeseburger and while waiting for it to get ready I snapped different pictures of different dishes of whomever was there 😛

Many many wraps… Meat wrap above, and veggie below! I took a bite of the veggie wrap -not my kinda wrap/sandwich- but what I liked most about it were the spices used! It gave a homemade wrap feel to it, as if it was something your momma would prepare at home..

A fish wrap that I took a bite of… Its amazing! I loved it. White fish covered in crisps – not so much is going on there, the sauce and toppings within did not overpower the taste of fish! Highly recommended for the seafood lovers 😉

Salads, I have not tried any of them… I wanted to save room for my burger 😉

And the moment of truth…. My burger, on the table!

The burger comes in a potato bun that is soft and light as a feather… with the kind of bread that melts in your mouth! The burger itself is full of juices! It was fat and satisfying! Cheese used is of a good quality, and so were the other ingredients! The beef patty was spiced in a way that made it a Normal “Not Normal” kinda cheeseburger 😉
