تمت دعوتي لحضور إفتتاح حديقة الحيوانات الآلية في قاعة الاستكشافات بالمركز العلمي في السالمية
I was invited to attend the opening of The Robot Zoo at The Scientific Center of Kuwait yesterday under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Nayef Falah AlHajraf, the Minister of Education and Higher Education. The Robot Zoo will be open for visitors until November 23rd 2013… its quite interesting, so do not miss it 😉

تم الافتتاح تحت رعاية و حضور معالي وزير التربية و وزير التعليم الآلي الدكتور نايف فلاح الحجرف. المعرض سمي بمعرض الحيوانات الآلية و صرح رئيس مجلس الإدارة و العضو المنتدب للمركز العلمي السيد مجبل سليمان المطوع بأن هذا المعرض هو السابع من سلسلة المعارض التربوية التفاعلية المتنقلة التي وضع لها المركز خطة منذ أربع سنوات من أجل التجديد و التنويع كل ستة أشهر و التي تحظى باهتمام الطلبة و المدرسين و زوار المركز بشكل عام من مختلف الأعمار و الشرائح. سيستمر المعرض إلى ٢٣ نوفمبر ٢٠١٣ فلا تفوتون الفرصة 

The Chairman and Managing Director for The Scientific Center, Mr. Mijbil AlMutawa, said that this is their 7th exhibition of their series of educational and interactive mobile exhibitions, that changes periodically (every six months), in an effort to keep up with whats new in the field, attracting students and teachers, plus others who are interested in such events, regardless of their age… I can say I quite enjoyed it myself.

It basically showcase how a fly can walk on the ceiling, how the chameleon change color, and much more

Dr. Nayef AlHajraf and Mr. Mijbil AlMutawa interacted with children and staff of the center, trying out the new toys! It is fun 😉

Staff members were very friendly and patient with the kids (and grownups as well). The way they interact and talk to the kids is admirable

A BIG thanks to The Scientific Center for having me. I really enjoyed it and was happy to see Dr. Nayef AlHajraf who taught me in college and mentored us in the business club we established at GUST

Anyways, the Center is looking to sign a contract to expand under the sponsorship and generous funding of the Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Sciences, which will include a center for dolphins and marine mammals plus and exhibition hall

في نهاية الحفل، أعلن المطوع عن قيام المركز العلمي بتوقيع عقد تصميم توسعة المركز العلمي برعاية كريمة من مؤسسة الكويت للتقدم العلمي بتمويل المشروع بالكامل ليشمل مركزا للدلافين والثديات البحرية و دارا للاستكشافات
