While in Dubai last month, I spotted Mr. Robot Cop at The Dubai Mall

في زيارتي الشهر الماضي لدبي شفنا رجل الشرطة الآلي يتمشى مع الشرطة في دبي مول

I had a small chit-chat with the policemen walking with the robot, and they were nice enough to tell me all about it! He is basically a robot police officer with a touch-screen that goes around the mall (and also other crowded places) to help others! In what sense? Well, that cop speaks different languages! So it can communicate. You can also use the touch-screen to report incidents and ask for directions. It contains a camera with face recognition and is able to send videos and reports to the police, however they cannot make arrest.

سولفت مع الشرطة عنه و قالولي إنه روبوت ذكي يقدم خدمات الشرطة بالأماكن المزدحمة مثل المولات و الأماكن السياحية. يتكلم بعدة لغات و تقدرون تتواصلون مع الشرطة من خلال الشاشة باللمس. تبلغون عن أي شي و يوصل تقرير للشرطة و الروبوت مبرمج للتعرف على الأشخاص من خلال معلومات محملة عليه بس ما عنده صلاحية للقبض عالمجرمين
