A couple of weeks back I posted about the nest I found outside one of our house windows (link), and I am still taking pictures and posting them on my Instagram for my followers to keep up with the #518Nest updates 😉 Well… the eggs hatched!! They were not hatched on the same day though! With my Instagram updates, I am getting interesting info from my followers!

قبل اسبوعين تقريبا كتبت موضوع عن عش الحمام الذي وجدته خارج أحد نوافذ منزلنا – إضغط هنا – المهم أنا تقريبا كل يوم أو يومين ألتقط صور وانزلها على الإنستغرام لمتابعيني… و هم بدورهم أيضا يعطوني أحيانا معلومات حلوة 

Apparently both parents of those eggs incubate! One of my followers told me to pay attention! And yes, she is right! The picture above shows two different doves, one is bigger and heavier. I always see them at the nest, they rarely leave, and when they do, I think they are getting something to eat and to switch shifts! It took those eggs about two weeks to hatch

من المعلومات الحلوة إللي عرفتها إن الأب و الأم يقومان باحتضان البيض لمدة اسبوعين! يعني يتناوبون. شوفو الصورة فيها حمامتين واحدة أسمن و أكبر من الثانية! و هذه من الأسباب إن العش دايما فيه حمامة! المهم البيض خذا تقريبا اسبوعين لين فقس 

Now I have two squabs to update you with as well! I am waiting for them to grow and fly away! Would be interesting to see that. They are so little and weak! They need to be nourished all the time. One of my followers, Sanabel, also told me that both parents of those squabs feed their babies milk! YES! You read that right!! Dove Milk (or crop milk)! I have seen them do that but whenever I try to take a picture, they feel alert and scared, even when I am far away! Stay tuned for more
